Cheers, my friends, on this splendid, beautiful St. Patrick’s Day! I’m hitting it early. Screw the liver.
(And let’s pretend that Guinness, k? I already had a case of it.)
We’re getting ready for corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, shepherd’s pie, soda bread and Irish cheese. And a ton of beer (Bud Light Lime, but still…) Possibly some Jamison in the coffee later. No partying at the pub or any parades, but we’re still going to have one hell of a time.
Come on over! There’s plenty…
ETA: The Moms are descending… My mother-in-law and, sit down, my mom are coming for the festivities! I’ll have some seriously good bloggable material for tomorrow. Fo Sho.
Except that means I’m frantically putting the smack down on the house. I was supposed to have a leisurely afternoon with many beers and my new found soulmate, Katie… I totally ditched on her. (Oh, and I did tell her about the blog…) Sorry to ditch on ya, girl. You have not yet met The Moms…. Unless you come over later for the show… ‘Cause you will definitely get one. You should sooooo come. You won’t be disappointed, that I can assure you.
