My wine shipment just came. Is it okay to start drinking now?
Ever have one of those days where you seriously feel like you have just had it and are about to freak out? I have been on the verge of tears. And have had to walk out of the room and scream once or twice… Henry will not stop fussing and crying (he is getting top and bottom teeth) and Avery has been sort of needy. She has been acting like a baby all day, because she’s jealous of all the laptime Henry is getting. So, I’ve been holding Henry all.damn.day and and dragging Avery around on my leg while she is whining and saying “Goo goo gaga… Hold ME. I’m a baby!” Lots of fun for mom. Two babies. Yay.
I just can’t get anything done. I also tried for a few HOURS to paint something ceramic for someone and it didn’t work out. I think she must have used oil to paint the base or something. Anyway, that was majorly frustrating. Although, Avery had a blast painting all morning. And, had a lot of fun painting the breakfast room table. And, I have to get dressed and wake Henry up from a nap to meet a friend/family/client to shop for her house. I’ve been helping her decorate and she is having a party at her new home Saturday. So, she needs a few things… I have to bring both kids with me. Good thing she’s a friend… I actually stayed at her house until almost midnight last night accomplishing nothing but a buzz. (Oh, but I did kick major ass at tennis last night and we won the match.)
Aren’t you proud of me for actually “working,” even if I’m doing it for free?
Anyway, it’s just one of those days. I was going to flake out on bunko tonight, since I am a bit disgruntled with the group and really should help S out at her house… But, they are going to be short a player and I need to do something mindless… I may just have to go afterall. There is some awkwardness, though, with the friend whose house it’s at and that’s a whole “thing.” But, damn, I need to get the hell out of dodge.
It’s seriously just one of those fucking days. Thank you Ledson Winery and UPS for bringing sunshine to my doorstep.
