Holy crap. This weekend has been an adventure.
Okay, so…. I did make MDU chat for a few minutes Friday night, but, other than that, I devoted Friday and Saturday to the yard sale. The Yard Sale from Hell. (They are all yard sales from hell, I think, but the devil personally handpicked this one for his own enjoyment…) Here are some pics to sum it up:
For those of you that don’t find these pictures odd, we live in GEORGIA. The southern half of Georgia. It snows here like once every ten years. It was 70 Friday. And, it was 70 again yesterday. Wouldn’t ya know it…. So, now I have a garage full of shit that I have to either get someone to come pick up or haul off. It is not going back into my house.
We had to go pick up Avery Saturday, she was at my mom’s about an hour and a half away. We so wanted to see her in the snow, but by the time we got there it had already pushed through. It snowed here from about 7am until 11ish. We even got some accumulation and had a little snowball fight, scraping the snow off of our yard sale tables and goods.
Saturday evening we went straight to the ils and had dinner with bil and his new bride and some friends, etc… And, I went into yard sale recovery mode and drank a few beers. Then yesterday a birthday party. Needless to say, this is how we all felt by yesterday evening:
That is really how she fell asleep. Curled up like that on the floor in the hallway outside of her playroom. Pouting.
Luckily, we all slept in this morning (until ten,) so maybe we’ll all be chipper and full of energy today. This week should be a little less hectic. Although, Henry has to get tubes on Wednesday. And, he is getting a tooth! I was telling someone just yesterday that my children don’t get hair or teeth until they turn one. Guess, I was wrong on the tooth part. You never know…
